After school I like to take the boys to the park. Xander and I were able to go on our own on this particular afternoon because Curtis was sleeping. Xander looked up at me and asked, "Dad, where we walking to?"
I responded, "To the park."
"Why we going there?"
"To play," I asked, "do you want to play?"
He smiled, "Of course!"
At one point Xander tried to sneak over to the tractor that is parked on the property so that he could climb up it. I caught him and snapped a couple of pictures. Xander loves anything with wheels. On our way home he saw a mini-motorcycle he pointed at it and proclaimed, "Me want!"
Xander sat here to call for help. He likes to pretend that he is stuck. So playing along I put my fists on my hips and stated, "I'll save you!" in a superhero voice. Xander thought it was really cool.
The next day Xander, Curtis, and I walked out of town. It was kind of fun to be able to walk from one town to another without even leaving our neighborhood.
