Long Sleepy Sunday

It was a late night with the boys on Saturday and an early morning to get up for church on Sunday.  Suffice it to say that the whole family was tired.  In addition to this Pamela has not been feeling well.  Xander and Curtis both had kind of a rough day in church because they were both tired.  Pamela was able to teach her first lesson as a Primary Chorister in the Athens Ward.

Xander went off by himself and quietly played for most of the afternoon.  He spent a lot of time in bed though he did not nap.  Curtis on the other hand fell asleep on the car ride home and slept the entire afternoon, which of course meant another late night for the Maynard family.

Pamela and Jane both exhausted fell asleep and I stayed awake in case the children or cat needed me.  Curtis woke up around six and wasn't too happy.  The boys and I had a mini-Mickey Mouse Marathon that seemed to cheer them up.  Jane woke up after about the third episode.  Xander crashed for the evening a little bit after that.

Curtis was now up and ready for action.  I was trying so hard to keep him out of the DVDs but he was determined.  What he ended up doing was pretty cute, it took a lot of concentration, and I could tell he was learning, so I let him have at it.

Curtis takes a quick break to jump around and get some energy out.  Diving on Grandma is always lots of fun!

"Baby Cat, Bigger Cat," as Xander calls them are continuing to try to establish their relationship.  Sometimes they nuzzle and are pretty cute and sometimes the little one chases the big one away.  It's funny that Comet is so frightened of the little thing.

After midnight I ran to Walmart to get some things to help make Pamela feel better.  When I came back Xander was awake again and Curtis was still up.  We got Xander to sleep again after a bit but Curtis would be awake with Grandma until around 4 AM.
