Pam's Birthday

I got up bright and early to give the kitten a feeding.  Afterward I went out to finish up my birthday box for Pamela.  She really liked what I got her.

Here is what Pamela said, "Morning birthday surprise from my husband. He knows me well... Owls, Art Supplies, a new cup, and Roses."

Pamela, Jane, and I took the boys to the show at the Tri County Library for the day.  It was being presented by the local electric company.  It was a very morbid presentation, do this and DIE, do that and DIE, do not do this or you will DIE!  The boys weren't that interested.  When I did get Xander interested he decided to run up and touch the model with live electricity flowing through it.  We decided to do other activities.

I watched the boys at play while Pamela and Jane checked out the art district of Mabank.  The ladies had a lot of fun and bonding time while the boys were able to pull out toys and have a blast.  I read a Disney book to Curtis on responsibility.

In addition to supervising the boys during their playtime I also helped a little girl find her mommy.

The big doggie toy really made Curtis happy.  In the photograph below Xander was trying to pick out a couple of books.

This is the kind of look you get when you tell your four year old that he shouldn't do something.

Xander and Curtis took naps and Pamela and I went out to Jalapeno Tree to eat and then went to see Central Intelligence with the Rock and Kevin Hart.  Pamela told me it was a good birthday.  Here's what I wrote to Pamela this morning.  Happy Birthday to my wonderful wife, Pamela Marie Maynard. You have been with me through thick and thin. Your love, devotion, dedication, and support buoys my spirit. Your smile and shinning eyes are all I need to feel happy. I adore you. Te amo mi querida.

It was so nice to have a date with Pamela.  She was so beautiful tonight.  You know you have a great wife when she spends her birthday dinner talking about you.  Today I was called by one university and emailed by another.  So Pamela took the time to talk to me about my options for my Masters Degree.
