Xander had a blast with miniature golf. He even hit it into the hole, eventually.
After playing some games we loaded the boys back into the car and got some ice cream for the boys, which they ate as Kirk and Picard respectively.
Pamela sent me out for dessert one night so I picked up a pumpkin cookie kit. It came in handy for a lot of things, keeping the boys busy, and we also took a bunch to a party later on in the month.
I decided it would be fun to dress the boys up as one of their favorite fish, Nemo, from the Pixar Disney fame. We went on a short walk together with them all decked out.
After our walk I mowed the grass and they came out to see what I had done. Then of course they needed to try out the trampoline some more, they can't get enough of that.
Max the lion. We prepared for the Trunk or Treat by prepping the chili, dressing up Max, and changing the boys. We talked a lot about buying new costumes this year but Pamela just did not feel right about getting something that they would only wear once.
Our Disney Trunk! We used several stuffed animals and Tsum Tsums along with BB-8. We had Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars in our display.
Xander and I won Cutest Adult Costume, "Superman saving a baby"
Xander has never been fond of capes until that night. All of a sudden he wanted to be a super hero like Daddy.
My little monster!
Trick or treating in Mabank. Then we stopped for pictures with hay. We also checked out main street in Mabank before heading back to our very own Gun Barrel City.
Since Xander wanted to be a super hero we decided to go with a DC theme. Pamela was Cat Woman, Curtis was Batman, and Xander and I matched as Superman.
Curtis waits to go on an egg hunt with the other children in Gun Barrel. As soon as they gave us the go ahead he grabbed one and was happy. I kept grabbing things for him.
One last costume, just for bedtime and storytime.
