I stayed with the boys while the other adults went out and shopped. After everyone got back it was finally warm enough to go out and play. After we got back Sophie tried on her new sweater and gave Xander kisses. It was a nice final day in Alabama.

Thanksgiving Break Part VIII - Thanksgiving Day
Had a fun Thanksgiving Day with my boys. We played in the yard and at the park. Mommy picked up dinner and the adults had a nice meal while Curtis napped and Xander pxlayed with his toys.
After dinner we watched the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Redskins and played dominoes.
Thanksgiving Part VII - Cultural Arts Center in Gadson, Alabama
The gigantic leaf pile I had made was carried away, but the boys made it clear that they still wanted to play in the leaves. I raked up what I could and they were perfectly content with it as if it was the massive pile from the day before. That is something that I love about children.
After playing outside I caught Curtis trying to give himself a bath. After we got the whole family ready we went on a little road trip to Gadson where we had planned on going to the Cultural Arts Center. While there we looked at a train model of Gadson in the 1940s, Christmas trees with movie themes, an art museum, and a children's museum!
Failed selfie with the Luck Dragon.
This exhibit was called Let it Snow, and gave the kids a chance to play.
I had the opportunity to look at the temple on our way back. Grandpa got out of the car and walked the grounds with me. I answered some questions. Later back at the house Pamela showed him some of the work that has been done for his family by members of the Church.
Thanksgiving Part VI - Boys in Motion
Curtis slept in late on Tuesday so Xander and I started our day off at the park. When we got back Curtis eventually woke up and we headed outside to rake up some leaves to make a large pile for the boys to play in. Sophie the puppy might have been into it just as much. I love my new toy from Google that makes these moving photos that really capture some great moments.
Pamela took a nap later on in the day and Grandpa Dwaine and Grandma Jane came outside with the boys and I to play.
Poor Grandma Jane really got it!
Below is the same day but in collage form.
