Xander woke up earlier than anybody else on Monday and mostly just went from room to room playing. I got out of bed to watch him at six but ended up falling asleep on the couch until eight. This was the first Monday of Summer Vacation and I guess my body wanted to take advantage of it. This is what he built right in front of me while I was sleeping.
After a bit I decided to wake up Curtis. Curtis seems to have missed out on the last several times that I took Xander to the park. I made sure both boys had sunscreen on and then I loaded them up into the van and took off for the morning. We played at the park for about forty minutes or so.
Curtis climbs up the playground while Xander calls for help and holds Princess Ana over the edge. Daddy came charging up the slide to save them both. Xander thought it was hilarious.
Apparently the Princess Ana Tsum Tsum needed a turn on the swings as well.
After coming home the boys got their breakfast and we started getting ready for our trip to Plano, Texas for the afternoon. Pamela signed Xander up for swimming lessons and yesterday he was going to have his first one. Both boys took a nap during the journey which is a little over an hour long.
Xander had a great lesson. Curtis and I stayed in a waiting area where he played and I read him books. We looked in on Xander a few times and saw what a great time he was having. Pamela ended up getting Curtis signed up for the same class so it looks like I'll be getting in the pool next week.
After Xander's lesson our family decided to check out an inexpensive indoor playground called Kid Mania. It was a blast! The boys really loved crawling around, bouncing, and going down the super fast slides. Curtis really liked that he got an area all to himself. There was a three and under area and as the youngest child there it became his domain.

The photos of Xander did not turn out so well since he was constantly moving, bouncing, climbing, and just having a great time. Here are a few that were better.
Afterward we went out to eat at Golden Corral and drove back to Gun Barrel, what a great day with the boys!
