To say that Tuesday morning was unpleasant would be an understatement. For the most part things went rather well, but I was unfortunately sick that morning. Around 30 miles outside of Gun Barrel City my wife had to pull over so I could puke. After that the trip went okay. We stopped at the Reelfoot Lake Inn in Tennessee. Pamela, Jane, and Curtis went out to eat while Xander and I hung out in the hotel.
It would not be until the morning that I would realize what a gem this little inn actually was. Such a beautiful place, it was a true blessing to get to stay there and see the magnificent sun rise Wednesday morning. Hopefully this will not be our last trip to Tiptonville.
