Yesterland Farms

Our family had such a great time at Yesterland Farms!  It was truly a great experience to share that with Xander and Curtis.  It is so great to find a local amusement park that caters to young children!  From what I understand Yesterland Farms only opens for a few weekends a year, spring, fall, and Christmas are the times that they were advertising.

Before heading up to our adventure in Canton, Texas we had to make a stop in Kaufman, Texas, which was having a parade for the Scarecrow Festival.  We only caught the end of it but it was a fun surprise.

Curtis was being so cute that I decided to take a picture with him, of course he moved at the exact wrong moment!

Curtis enjoyed a breakfast of French Toast Sticks, Xander got some time on Grandma's phone.

Once we arrived at Yesterland Farms the real fun of the day began.  Xander and I went down a huge slide together and from there Xander got his first ever roller coaster ride!  He started out really excited but ended up putting his head down for most of it.  He said he had fun on it.  Unfortunately the only one you can see in the pictures is me.  Xander kept himself low and clung to me.

Horses were definitely more Xander's speed than the roller coaster.  He loved getting to ride this unicorn pony.  He even thanked him and pet him.

The teepee was a neat find.  It had Arizona colors on it so it was like a piece of our old home on the Navajo Nation.  Xander was pretty fascinated by it.

Xander and Curtis both love cars.  We had fun looking at the various models that were being displayed.

Curtis watches as Mommy, Grandma, and Xander figure out the Rubber Duckie Races.  He and I did it before hand and I got him out a second time and we did it again.

After riding a small train and seeing a small village, Xander got curious about these little structures.

Xander playing on some old school playground equipment.

After the boys both got to experience a few rides everyone was pretty hungry.  While Pamela and Jane bought food for lunch I took the boys to a large rocking chair to attempt a neat family photograph.  Emphasis on attempt, despite not getting any really good shots I think that they are all really cute.

After lunch we decided to go on our free hay ride.  We had to wait a little while for the tractor to come back but it was a very pretty ride that was well worth the wait.

Mommy and Xander moments!

Xander steals a kiss!

Xander still loves pumpkins, we could not leave without obtaining some pumpkins for the little man.
