Thanksgiving Break Part II - Sophie the Christmas Dog

While Pamela and Jane were out and about on their errand they decided to pick up a couple of other things as well. One of them being a sweater for the puppy. The weather here has gotten much colder from what it was, while it isn't very cold compared to what we have lived in before, for the puppy it is freezing. Sophie got attached to her new sweater very quickly.

On Saturday we found a Christmas collar in our storage and decided to try it on her. She doesn't like the collar much but it made for some really cute photos.

The Maynard Family Story Continues

Outlaws of Gun Barrel City is the third installment of our family blogs.

Out here in Pinon is the first and it tells the story of how I met and married my wife, worked and taught in an unique community, and had two children.

Next came Maynards in Memphis, which told the story of our transition from middle of nowhere living to major city living.

Anytime a family moves it is always bittersweet. We are hoping that this will be our final move, at least for awhile. Memphis did not work out like we had hoped but now our story will continue in Gun Barrel City, where they shoot straight with you!
