Our first stop on the trip was in the state of Louisiana. None of us had ever been there before. Pamela was looking for gators the whole time. I got excited when I saw a bear crossing sign and started watching for black bears. Neither of us saw what we were looking for. Since we were looking so hard for wildlife we did get to see quite a bit of the beautiful country side. Louisiana is truly a beautiful place.
Sophie is a very shy dog. She isn't so sure about people from outside of the family. Luckily she does not have an aggressive bone in her body, she doesn't even bark, she does however cower quite well, like she is doing in this photograph. Our next stop was in Mississippi for lunch.
Shortly after getting at Pamela's grandfather's house we unloaded and went to bed.
