On Friday I was able to get a day off work to spend a day with Xander on a class field trip. We went to Wits End Ranch in Grand Saline, TX. Our first stop was the pirate ship, he loved this boat swing.
Our next activity was the hay ride. The ranch was once a working air strip. They showed us some unique hand made critters and heroes.
Off to the Turtle Races! Surprisingly fast and entertaining.
After seeing this African giant, we played for awhile on one of the many playgrounds.
Xander was not so sure about the zip line, after a few attempts he finally went!

After lunch we had some free time!
The great people even let him take a pumpkin!
