Zoo Field Trip with Curtis, November 17, 2017

I was so happy to get the opportunity to join Curtis' preschool class to go to the Caldwell Zoo right before Thanksgiving Break this school year. It was such a fun day with my little guy! He is a reptile boy!

The Maynard Family Story Continues

Outlaws of Gun Barrel City is the third installment of our family blogs.

Out here in Pinon is the first and it tells the story of how I met and married my wife, worked and taught in an unique community, and had two children.

Next came Maynards in Memphis, which told the story of our transition from middle of nowhere living to major city living.

Anytime a family moves it is always bittersweet. We are hoping that this will be our final move, at least for awhile. Memphis did not work out like we had hoped but now our story will continue in Gun Barrel City, where they shoot straight with you!
